We staged a house on a Friday. The house was on the market for 6 months and went through numerous $10K price reductions. After staging a contract was placed on the home the following Monday. Staging works!!!

I want to personally thank you for recently "selling" my listing on St. James Road in Marriottsville. When I say to you SOLD it I mean it. This was a Corperate Relocation property that had sat empty for aprox. 3 months. I was on the verge of "getting fired" as its ALWAYS the listing agents fault when a home does not sell. Besides being empty with that cold feeling, the other major roadblock was the constant noise from Rt. 70 which sat directly behind the home. Relo's answer for selling the home was to have me doing constant open houses and lowering the price at 10k a pop (twice) and offering a buyers concession at settlement. I additionally relisted it to make it appear "fresh".

Rebecca spoke briefly at our sales meeting months ago and I kept her card. I asked my relo. specialist about the possibility of having it "staged." As always, they sat on it and finally said get an estimate. Rebecca met me at the property on a rainy dreary afternoon. She walked in with total confidence and had me sold before she hit the main rooms. She spoke firmly-yet positively and rightly so - had bragging rights on her success.

At first relo- said NO due to cost. Rebecca spoke with them and sold them. Within days we had a HOME not a house. I walked in immediatly after her team finished and was speechless. The first room walking into the home was a cold livingroom---not when she finished. They used brand new furniture and made the walls that looked slightlly worn-look new! She staged the famiy room, kitchen, and most importantly the "noisy" screened in porch! The Master Bedroom is massive-she brought in beautiful furniture-a reading nook-robes for the closets and "spa" items for the baths!

Sunday was another "dreaded" open house. We had 2 families thru.....and the second wrote an offer the next day! Could be a coincidence....but again I give Rebecca and her team ALL the credit. Instead of the 10k price reductions-we should have had it staged and saved some money. Her company is extremely professional and I am proud to reccommend them to all my future clients and fellow realtors!!!

Thanks so much for the redecorating work you did for us recently. We have had three decorators in our home and Rebecca was by far the very best. It feels so good to have found a decorator who is so friendly, reliable and trustworthy. Thanks so much for all that you did to stage our home for sale. Our realtor couldn’t believe all the changes you made for such a small amount of money. Results: After being on the market for 6 months, a simple home staging helped Jeri get a contract on this listing in 1 week of relisting to the first buyer who saw it.

I wanted to give you an update and let you know how things turned out. The prior weekend Kevin moved the furniture out of the house into storage. We weren't able to move everything you suggested but we did move the dressers from the bedroom, the sewing machine from the hall, and the recliners from the living room and basement. The following day our realtor came by to take new pictures of the house. She was amazed at how nice it looked!
